A greyhound martingale collar is a special type of dog collar designed to prevent hounds with small heads and thicker necks from wriggling out of their collars.
It consists of a large cotton ring that surrounds the dog's neck and is connected to a smaller ring with an electro-welded steel D-ring for the leash attachment.

With greyhound martingales it is very important to get a proper fit. If the collar is too loose, the collar will not work as it should. For this reason we recommend that you adjust the greyhound martingale so that when you pull on the leash, the main collar and the pull ring with the D-ring are about three fingers apart. If you can't fit three fingers, the main collar is probably set too loose.
